Thermography is the scientific approach to capture the temperature of carious objects, in which a special device (infrared camera) obtains the radiation which is emitted by objects in the infrared range and converts it into an image.

Every object that is found in a temperature above absolute zero (more than -273 C) emits radiation. Since the intensity of radiation which is emitted by each body is different, temperature differences are created and can be visualized by infrared camera.

The analysis of thermal images with special programs on the computer allows us to have accurate temperature measurements at the points of interest.

Thermography is a non-destructive method for surveying the sate of various objects and processes. Particularly useful can be to:

  • the control of heat loss in buildings.
  • the detection of moisture
  • the control of air leaks.
  • the control of electrical installations
  • the control of mechanical installations
  • the control of refrigeration and air conditioning units.
